In our Little Rock shop, we print both styles on the exact same material—heavy-duty 3 mil Arlon vinyl sealed with a 3 mil Arlon UV protective laminate (a 6 mil weatherproof, waterproof, and dishwasher-safe build).
The only difference happens at the cutting table, and it comes down to how deep our blade cuts into the paper liner underneath your sticker. That single detail changes how your stickers look in a customer's hand, how fast they peel, and how much extra room you get for branding.

When you should order die cut stickers

Go with die cut if:
- You are selling them at a merch table, farmers market, or retail checkout. People buy with their eyes. A custom-shaped illustration sitting in a display bin grabs way more attention than a square sheet of paper.

3 times kiss cut is actually the smarter move
A lot of buyers skip right past kiss cut because they assume die cut is “fancier.” In reality, there are three situations where ordering a kiss cut beats a die cut every single time:
1. Your artwork has thin, delicate points
If your design features skinny cursive lettering, floral stems, spiderwebs, or sharp star tips, a die cut sticker can get dog-eared if someone shoves it loose into a pocket or backpack before peeling it. A kiss cut leaves a sturdy square backing around the whole piece, acting like a bodyguard for your delicate edges until the moment it gets applied.
2. You want free marketing on the border
Suppose you designed a cool piece of art and you don't want to ruin the illustration by plastering www.YourBrand.com across the bottom of the graphic. With a kiss cut sticker, we can print your shop URL, Instagram handle, or QR code on the extra vinyl frame outside the cut line. Your customer sees your branding while holding the sheet, then peels out the clean artwork without any clutter on their laptop.
3. You need to peel hundreds of stickers fast
