How to Install Front Adhesive Stickers
Front adhesive stickers are the opposite of a normal sticker: the glue is on the printed front, not the back. You apply one to the inside of a window or glass door, and the design shows through the glass to everyone outside — protected from the weather while it stays crisp indoors.

Installing your sticker
The adhesive sits on the printed side, so it bonds to the glass while the image faces out. Clean glass and a steady press are all it takes.

Clean the inside of the glass
Wipe the inside of the window or door with glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth, then let it dry fully. Any dust or film under the sticker will show and weaken the bond.

Peel the backing off the front
Peel the backing sheet away to expose the adhesive on the printed side. From here on, that sticky front is what will meet the glass — so handle the sticker by its edges.

Press it to the inside of the glass
Line the sticker up and press the adhesive front against the inside of the glass, design facing outward. Because the glue is on the front, the image reads correctly to anyone outside.

Smooth from the center outward
Run a card or a soft cloth from the middle toward the edges to press out any air bubbles, working slowly until the whole design sits flat against the glass.
Quick tips
- —Only glass and other smooth, transparent surfaces work — the design has to be seen through the surface it sticks to.
- —Look at the sticker from outside as you position it; from the inside you are seeing the back of the design.
- —Press the edges down firmly. A well-sealed edge keeps moisture and condensation from creeping underneath.
- —To remove, lift a corner and peel slowly at a low angle; wipe away any leftover adhesive with rubbing alcohol.
Front Adhesive Sticker Questions
How is a front adhesive sticker different from a regular sticker?
A regular sticker has adhesive on the back and is viewed from the front. A front adhesive sticker has the adhesive on the printed front, so it mounts to the inside of glass and is viewed through the glass from outside.
Where can I use one?
Any clear glass or window — storefront doors, house windows, glass office partitions. The surface has to be transparent, because the design is seen through it from the other side.
What does it look like from inside?
From inside you see the reverse of the design, since the printed side is pressed against the glass and facing out. Position and check alignment from the outside for best results.
Can I remove it later?
Yes. Lift a corner and peel slowly at a low angle. Any residue wipes off with rubbing alcohol or an adhesive remover, leaving the glass clean.
